Our story
It all began back in the '90s when we were mesmerized by the magic of our grandma’s hand-crafted knits. She taught us traditional crochet and knitting techniques. So here we are two decades later slowly building our sustainable brand.
We named it Yova in her honor.
We are two sisters, a designer (usually in front of the camera) and a storyteller (the one behind the camera).
Sustainable lifestyle is all about wearing beautiful, timeless pieces, while feeling good about it.
We believe in the power of nature. We believe we can live in a sustainable way on Earth, in relationship with Earth. Nature is both a source and an inspiration for us!
Our brand is built on the belief that slow fashion brands are the future of the industry.
YOVA is posited to show that fashion and sustainability can go hand in hand. Our mission is to create timeless accessories that won’t go out of fashion and are built to last.

Meet the team
NATALI - CO-FOUNDER/ CREATIVE DIRECTOR/ MAKER
Natali lives and works in Milan. She is working as a consultant for sustainable management, sustainable design and sustainable fashion. In the past years, she has been working on projects related to 3D knitting technology in the product design sector.
OLIVERA - CO-FOUNDER/ MARKETING DIRECTOR
Olivera has been working in the fashion accessories industry for years. Her knowledge in the industry, her passion for storytelling and living a conscious and more sustainable life makes her even more excited about the new journey of building this dear-to-heart brand together with her sister. She is based in Skopje.
Valentina is crocheting and knitting since she was 4. She is a math teacher and our superhero single mum.
Her focus on the brand is developing the products. She is based in Skopje.
